This program provides students with lectures on China's high-speed railway, helping them learn about the railway industry knowledge and the cutting-edge development concepts of future rail transit system. It organizes participants to visit Giant Panda, experience panda breeder, learn how to raise pandas, and receive an honorary Certificate from the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda after completing volunteer work. Participants also will have trips to visit UNESCO World Heritages in Sichuan Province and experiencing Chinese intangible cultural heritage techniques.

Introduction to Sichuan Province and Visiting Sites
Sichuan Province is located in southwestern China with a long history and culture. It is home to over 85% of the world's giant panda population and is the largest and most complete habitat for giant pandas in the world. The habitat of giant pandas in Sichuan is called the "Panda Ecological Corridor". Sichuan's dedication to the conservation of these beloved creatures is evident in the presence of several panda bases. In the program, we will visit Bifengxia Panda Base, Emei Mountain, Leshan Giant Buddha and Chengdu City which is the capital city of Sichuan. The trip will enable you to appreciate enchanting scenery, experience local traditional cultures, taste the delicacies, and enjoy leisurely lifestyle of Sichuan.

Thanks to Dujiangyan, Chengdu has become a "Land of Abundance". Dujiangyan Irrigation System is the oldest and only surviving grand hydraulic engineering project in the world. It has been playing a role in flood control and irrigation to this day.

Qingcheng Mountain: Qingcheng Mountain, as a Taoist “museum” that has spanned thousands of years is covered with green trees and remains evergreen throughout the four seasons. It is renowned as the “most secluded place under heaven”. Qingcheng Mountain is also one of the birthplaces of Chinese kung fu, and you may be able to see Taoist monks practicing kung fu. It is said that the Panda village in Kung Fu Panda is believed to be in Qingcheng Mountain.
Sanxingdui Site, one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century of China is regarded as a testimony to the life of the ancient Shu ancestors. A plentiful of relics was excavated here. Bronze Tree, Bronze Standing Figure, Vertical-eyed Bronze Mask, Gold Scepter and Gold Mask, which recognized as the "exhibition cultural relics that must stay in China", due to their extreme preciousness. The myth of Sanxingdui is going to be revealed by generations of restorers. More and more national treasure finally got completed and reborn, revealing the infinite fascination of ancient civilization and blossoming in radiant splendor to the whole world.

Bifengxia Panda Base: Bifengxia Giant Panda Base in Ya'an City is considered to be the panda base that most resembles the wild living environment of giant pandas. There are many panda families, where a mother panda lives with her 1-year-old baby panda.
At Bifengxia base, visitors can experience panda breeder, learn how to raise pandas, and receive an honorary Certificate from the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda after completing volunteer work.

Mengding Mountain: Mengding Mountain in Ya'an City is famous in China for growing tea In Mengding Mountain, you can experience picking and making tea like a local, taste Chinese green tea, and learn about the history and culture of Chinese tea.

Emei Mountain: Emei Mountain is one of the four famous Buddhist Mountains in China. There are Fuhu Temple, Wannian Temple and many other temples, as well as "narrow passage", "ninety-nine turns" and other strange and precipitous scenery. In a commanding position, the Golden Summit with the biggest concentration of temples and scenic spots on Emei Mountain can be called the largest and highest place of worship of Chinese Buddhism in the world.
The Golden Summit is also the perfect location to appreciate the wondrous Mount Emei "Sea of Clouds". The 72 peaks of Emei Mount are mostly over 2,000 meters above sea level.
They appear to float in the clouds like islands. If you are lucky, it's also possible to see the "Buddha Light" (a kind of Tyndall effect).

Leshan Giant Buddha: Leshan Giant Buddha is carved over 1,200 years ago. Its head being aligned with the mountain peak, while its feet standing near the river, the Leshan Giant Buddha, with a height of 71 meters and a width of 24 meters is currently the largest cliff-carved statue in China.
